Dr. William Cox brings more than 30 years of cardiology experience to LMG Specialty Associates. He has practiced in Huntsville, Alabama, since 1986.

Dr. Cox earned his medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia and completed his residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. After his residency, Dr. Cox joined the U.S. Army Medical Corps, where he completed a cardiology fellowship at Brook Army Medical Center. He later completed a research fellowship in interventional cardiology at Emory University.

Dr. Cox is board certified in general and interventional cardiology and is certified by the Heart Rhythm Society as a cardiac device specialist.
