COVID-19 Information for Lincoln County, Tennessee

To assist in providing needed resources and information on the availability of COVID-19 testing and vaccinations, we have included information and links that may be helpful for our community, including our COVID-19 plan.

COVID-19 Vaccine

The Tennessee Department of Health has released a COVID Vaccine Eligibility Tool to help the community determine their vaccine distribution phase and track the availability in their county.

COVID-19 Testing at the Lincoln County Health Department

The Lincoln County Health Department offers both self-testing kits (available Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) and drive-through testing (available Tuesday and Thursday). More information can be found here.

Outpatient COVID Testing at Lincoln Medical Center

Lincoln Medical Center now offers Rapid COVID-19 testing to patients with a physician’s order.  Testing is available Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. by appointment.

If your primary care or urgent care provider has ordered outpatient COVID-19 testing at Lincoln Medical Center, please follow these instructions to ensure your visit goes as smoothly as possible:

Call 931-438-7389 to schedule your appointment before arriving at LMC. If no one answers, please leave a detailed voicemail with your name, date of birth, and a call-back number. You will receive a call with your appointment time and instructions on where to park. No testing will be performed without an appointment.

At your scheduled appointment time, please park in your assigned parking spot on the side of LMC in the numbered parking spots near the corner of the building. This parking area can be accessed by taking the 2nd left off of Medical Center Blvd. and following the road past the ambulance service around the corner. Please do not arrive more than 5 minutes early to your appointment. If you are more than 5 minutes late for your appointment, you may need to be rescheduled.

Once you have arrived, call the phone number on the sign designating the appropriate parking spots to check in with registration. The registration process will be completed over the phone. Please wait in your vehicle until a staff member comes to greet you.

For COVID testing only, a lab representative will complete the test while you remain in your vehicle. If your testing requires you to come inside (lab draw or X-ray), an LMC employee will escort you into the building, where you will be taken to the clinical area or a designated waiting room. You will be asked to put on a mask before exiting your vehicle, and you will be escorted back to your vehicle after your visit is complete.

This process is intended to reduce possible COVID-19 exposure to other patients or staff members and expedite patient care for those requiring testing. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
